Get to know us

We at Fraunhofer Academy are looking forward to the journey into the world of batteries with you! Together with the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery Cell Production FFB, our Fraunhofer experts from numerous Fraunhofer Institutes and our university and industry partners, we are in the process of setting up the European Learning Lab Battery Cells ELLB and continuously expanding the range of courses. The outcome is an innovative, wide-ranging curriculum that offers the right course for every target group. The special feature: At the ELLB site in Münster, one of the most modern and largest research production facilities for battery cells is currently being built on a gigafactory scale - and the doors to this factory are open to participants in our training courses! This will give you unique insights that you won't find anywhere else in a similar form!

Our values:

Unser Wertebaum englisch
Our value tree

Shared values are an essential component for successful cooperation and continuous development.

We the ELLB Team, accompanied by the Fraunhofer CeRRI - Center for Responsible Research and Innovation - have developed a common set of values. In doing so, we asked ourselves questions such as, "How do we want to be? What do we and the ELLB stand for? What is the basis for our actions?"

On this page, you can learn more about what lies behind Our values.

The ELLB-Project Team:

Fraunhofer Academy

For more than 10 years, Fraunhofer Academy has been developing innovative training courses individually adapted to the needs of diverse target groups in cooperation with Fraunhofer scientists, renowned partners and partner universities. The most recent findings from science and research are directly incorporated into the learning content, resulting in innovative teaching and learning concepts and ensuring an effective and unique transfer of knowledge from Fraunhofer research. Therefore, Fraunhofer Academy leads and is responsible for the development of the European Learning Lab Battery Cells ELLB in all its dimensions.
